Brooklyn-Queens Brewery Express
The Brooklyn-Queens Brewery Express is a street race that runs through multiple neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Queens. The course is 13.1 miles long. The event is held in Glendale, with the address listed as 70-02 Cooper Ave. A mobile bag check transports checked bags from the start to a secure location near the finish line.
All registrants receive a custom race singlet. Every finisher receives a custom medal and a custom, limited-edition pint glass. Pizza is provided for all racers at the finish line.
There are awards for overall male and female finishers, including a cash prize, a custom gift, and a pack of beer. Second and third place finishers in both categories also each receive a pack of beer. After the race, there are raffles for beer, custom growlers, and goody bags from sponsors.
Bib pickup occurs during the week of the race at convenient locations around the city. The race package at pickup includes a course map and all pertinent race day information. The race course is not closed to traffic. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
