Summer in Disguise Charity Fun Run & Walk
The event is a community fun run and walk held on July 11, 2026 at Michigan Beach Park Pavilion, 95 N Grant Street, Charlevoix, MI 49720. It offers two measured route options and is presented as a family friendly activity with an emphasis on costumes.

Entry fees are listed as $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12. Registration and check in take place at the pavilion. The route begins and ends near the pavilion, follows Park Avenue and Lakeshore Drive, then returns along the same course. Signs will mark the 3K and 5K turnaround spots.
The event will proceed rain or shine. Strollers and leashed non aggressive pets are encouraged. Parking is free. Water and small snacks are provided at the finish. Swag bags are available for the first 30 adults to register and for children while supplies last.
All proceeds support Safe Haven Ministries CHX, a local non profit that provides community services including free bi weekly breakfasts, a summer feeding program for lower income students, school supply distribution, and an emergency men's winter shelter.
