Event Overview
The Charlevoix Marathon event offers several distances: marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K. The race takes place in Charlevoix, Michigan, on June 20, 2026. Registration is scheduled to open on July 1, 2025.
Course Description
The race starts on Bridge Street. The course passes by Lake Michigan and goes through Charlevoix neighborhoods. It goes around Mount McSauba and along tree-lined roads and the lakeshore. A turnaround point is at Little Traverse Bay. The finish line is located in old town Charlevoix and Round Lake.
Additional Information
Packet pick-up and an expo are held at a location overlooking Round Lake and the Beaver Island Ferry. The event was named one of the best "Small Town Marathons" in the nation by Running Magazine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
