Top of Michigan Festival of Races, Petoskey
The Top of Michigan Festival of Races is a series of running events held in Petoskey, Michigan on May 23, 2026. The races benefit the Top of Michigan Trails Council and the Petoskey High School Track and Cross Country teams. The start and finish are at Lime Kiln Kid’s Fishing Pier in Bayfront Park on Bayfront Drive.
The courses follow the Little Traverse Wheelway, a non-motorized trail that runs from Charlevoix through Petoskey/Bay Harbor to Harbor Springs. The route is mostly paved with some sections on grass and a short trail segment; the 10K and Half Marathon connect into Petoskey State Park. There are a few off-road sections on grass and dirt. Packet pickup, awards, and other event details are provided by the organizer.
