Sugar Mill Jingle Bell Dash 5K Run/Walk
The Sugar Mill Jingle Bell Dash is the fifth annual charity 5K event held in Johns Creek, Georgia. The event takes place at the Sugar Mill Clubhouse parking lot, 7095 Sweet Creek Road, and features a 5K run/walk format. A donation of $25 per person is requested for the 5K race.
Proceeds support Special K's, an agency of Special Olympics Georgia (SOGA). Special K's serves more than 140 athletes with disabilities and, as stated by the organizer, receives no funding from Special Olympics Georgia or Fulton County. The agency has been recognized as Agency of the Year for SOGA out of more than 200 agencies.
Dogs on leashes are welcome to participate. Package pick-up and bib and shirt collection are available the day before at the Sugar Mill Clubhouse; participants are encouraged to use that option.
All proceeds go to support Special K's, which is a nonprofit organization under IRS Code 501(c)(3) and may allow tax deductible contributions. Tax ID 23-7201676 is provided for donor reference.
