Sugar Land Half Marathon, 10K, and Mile

The Sugar Land event offers three distances in a single race weekend at the Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land, Texas. The course for the half marathon and 10K is a true loop with almost all right turns and is described as mostly flat and fast. Organizers list plentiful, fully stocked hydration and cheer stations along the route.

This edition includes course changes that removed several previous out-and-back sections. The loop was extended earlier along Austin Parkway, the finish route now brings runners in from behind the building for a direct finish, and the north-end out-and-back at the parking lot has been removed for the 10K. These changes keep parking accessible once the race begins so entry and exit remain available.

Post-race arrangements include a finish-area celebration with a unique finisher medal, food, music, and awards. The event is presented with large, easy parking areas and a convenient start and finish location suitable for family attendance. The race is part of the Lone Star Race Series as Race #2; the series schedule includes a kickoff event in April and a finale in December.
