The Stuc a' Chroin 5000 is an annual hill race held in Strathyre, Perthshire. In 2026 the race takes place on Saturday 2 May, the Saturday before the May Day Bank Holiday. The course runs within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and includes the summits of Ben Each and the Stuc a' Chroin.

The route covers 20 km with a total ascent of over 5000 ft (1500 m). Mandatory equipment is required for competitors. Early May weather can vary and midges may be present; an up-to-date local forecast is provided in the event Stop Press section up to the start.

Registration is managed through SiEntries and typically opens in early March (date to be confirmed). The event has been held since 1988, is recorded as more than 30 years running, and has attracted over 4,000 participants since inception.

Organisers note that travel times can be significantly increased during the May Day holiday period; routes from Stirling via Blair Drummond and Callander may take longer than usual. After the race there is a licensed bar and a free ceilidh. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
