Relay Wild Triathlon
The Relay Wild Triathlon is a team relay triathlon held at Strathearn Community Campus, Crieff, and organised by Perth Triathlon Club. The event uses a team relay format first introduced in Scotland in 2013; this relay format has also featured at the Commonwealth Games and recent European Championships.
Teams consist of four people and the event has space for 50 teams (200 participants). Each team member completes a short triathlon course and then tags the next team member, so every athlete swims, cycles and runs in sequence.
Distances for each team member:
- 160 m pool swim
- 10 km road cycle
- 1 km perimeter run
Team categories are Open (four open), Female (four female) and Mixed (two female plus two open). Mixed teams must compete in the Female Open Female Open order; no other combinations are eligible.
The race is chip timed by Eventful Management. Prizes are awarded to first, second and third in each category, and there is a special prize for the team with the most accurate swim time estimate for their A participant. A free kids fun run is held before the main event; adults must run with young children. Clubs may bring gazebos to set up on the grassy grounds beside the school.
Entry details include an entry fee of £96 until 11 Sep 2026 20:00 and a service fee of 4% (minimum £0.50) per entry. Participants who are not British Triathlon Home Nation members require a British Triathlon Race Pass costing £2.00 plus £0.08 service charge for ages 24 and under, or £8.00 plus £0.32 service charge otherwise.
