Relay Wild Triathlon
Relay Wild Triathlon takes place on 20 September 2026 at Strathearn Community Campus in Crieff. The event is a team relay triathlon organised by Perth Triathlon Club. Relay Wild was founded in 2013 and was the first race of its kind to be held in Scotland.
Teams and format: there is space for 50 teams of four, giving a maximum of 200 participants. Each team member completes a short triathlon course in turn and then tags the next team member. The course layout is compact and held around the campus and nearby roads, which facilitates spectating.
Distances per team member:
- 160 m pool swim
- 10 km road cycle
- 1 km run around the school perimeter
Team categories are Open, Female, and Mixed. Mixed teams must contain two female and two open members and must race in Female Open Female Open order; no other combinations are eligible. The organisers advise placing the most confident swimmers in second and third positions where teams have that flexibility.
Prizes are awarded for first to third in each category and a special prize is given for the most accurate swim time estimate for the A participant. The race is chip timed by Eventful Management. British Triathlon rules apply and technical officials will be present. A free kids fun run is held before the main race; adults must run with young children and on the day registration is used for that run. Clubs may set up gazebos on the grassy grounds beside the school.
Entry price listed until 6 September 2026 is £96. A service fee of 4% with a minimum of 50p applies per entry. A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for non home nation members and costs £2.00 plus £0.08 service charge for participants aged 24 and under, and £8.00 plus £0.32 service charge otherwise.
