Color For A Cause Walk - Harrisburg, PA
The Susquehanna Township Alumni Association, in partnership with some STSD students, organizes a breast cancer charity color run and walk on October 24, 2026 at Susquehanna Township High School, 3500 Elmerton Ave, Harrisburg, PA 17109. The main distance offered is 3.1 miles (Color Run / 5k Run / Walk).
Proceeds support the Susquehanna Township Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, which benefits the Vickies Angle Foundation and Pink Hands of Hope to aid local families affected by cancer.
Each registered runner receives a white T-shirt with black lettering and a goody bag of items donated by sponsors. Participants registered on or before September 26 are guaranteed a shirt and a bag. The registration fee is $35.00. Registration opens on August 4, 2026 and closes on October 21, 2026.
Participants who prefer not to be hit with color are asked to wear a pink shirt on the day; volunteers will attempt to avoid throwing color at them but cannot guarantee a completely color-free experience. Children under 5 enter free of charge but do not receive a shirt or runners bag. Everyone under 13 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older.
