About the race
The Hershey Miracle Race returns for its 23rd year on September 12, 2026, as an event to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital. The event offers on-site and virtual options at Milton Hershey School, Henry Hershey Field, 635 Brook Drive, Hershey PA. Race formats include a chip-timed in-person 5K, an untimed 1 mile Fun Run/Walk on the stadium track, and a virtual "any-way" 5K that participants may complete by running, walking, biking, swimming, skating, or otherwise exercising. The virtual window runs from August 8 through September 12, 2026.
Group registration discounts apply for teams of five to six people added in a single transaction. Online registration opens May 1, 2026 and closes in early September 2026. Logistics and race services noted by the organizer include local packet pick-up on September 10, 2026 and additional pick-up on race day, guaranteed race shirts for those registered by August 16, 2026, and no shipping of shirts or swag. The event is rain or shine and cashless with electronic payment only.
Parking next to Henry Hershey Field is free. In-person 5K finishers receive a medal; the 1 mile and virtual 5K participants do not. A water station is located after the one mile point.
