YMCA Harrisburg Half Marathon Presented by UPMC
The event begins on City Island and follows the Riverfront Park corridor through downtown Harrisburg. The course runs along the riverfront and is described as having little elevation change, which affects pacing and effort on the route.
The race has been held for 20 years and includes both in-person and virtual options. Virtual participants are mailed a race packet.
Distances offered:
- 13.1 Miles - Half marathon with an in-person option, a walkers entry, and a virtual entry
- 6.21 Miles - 10K available in-person and as a virtual entry
Registration opens on 2026-01-15. Most in-person options show a registration close date of 2026-01-18; virtual entries close on 2026-09-13.
