Striders Summer Slam
Striders Summer Slam is a free track meeting taking place on July 10, 2026 at the Blacksburg High School track (3401 Bruin Lane, Blacksburg, VA 24060, USA). The meet is open to all and permits entry in multiple events.
Event distances include:
- 3200 meters : 8 laps
- 100 meters
- 800 meters : 2 laps
- 4 x 400 meter relay : teams of four
Individual track events are professionally timed and results will be published. The 3200 meters and 800 meters will have heats seeded by predicted times. The 100 meters will have heats seeded by age group. The 4 x 400 meter relay is organized for teams of four, and participants may join with a full team, a partial team, or as individuals; the relay is not officially timed.
Registration opens June 14, 2026 and closes on the day of the meet, July 10, 2026. There is no registration fee. Additional event details such as heat assignments and official result listings will be provided by the meet organizers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
