STRIDE 10k Run Walk Riverfront and Minto-Brown Island Parks
The STRIDE event in Salem takes place within Riverfront Park and Minto-Brown Island Park. This event is part of a series held once a month on Saturday mornings from May through September. Participants use a course that features a mixture of both soft and hard trail surfaces.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5 km run or walk
- 10 km run or walk
The registration fee is set at $10.00 for the 5 km distance and $17.00 for the 10 km distance. The event center is located at the Riverfront Park Pavilion on Water Street NE. Participants can pick up their bibs at the pavilion on the day of the event.
The organizers allow strollers and dogs on a leash on the course. To assist with navigation, maps are sent via email to registered participants after 5 p.m. on the Friday evening before the activity starts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
