Presented by Haley's Heroes Foundation, the 7th Annual RUN/WALK FOR THE RARE is a run/walk event in Salem, Oregon on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The event supports International Batten Disease Awareness Day and features three distances:

- 5k
- 1 mile
The course starts and finishes outside of the Pavilion in the North Meadow.

Registration fees are listed as $45 for adults and $35 for children and include a T-shirt. The registration package also includes a coupon for wings and fries, a coupon for ice cream, and access to a photo booth. Early packet pick up is scheduled for June 13, 2pm-4pm at Gallagher's Fitness, 135 Commercial St NE, Salem, OR 97301. Packet pick up on race day begins at the event location, 200 Water St NE, Salem, OR 97301.
