Stretton Skyline Fell Race

The Stretton Skyline Fell Race, staged around Church Stretton, Shropshire, is a very tough long-distance event organized by Telford Athletic Club. It covers about 30.5 km with around 1,357 m of ascent, starting in Cardingmill Valley and finishing beside the Church Stretton Sports Pavilion after summiting Pole Bank, the Ragleth, Caer Caradoc, the Lawley and the Long Mynd. The course is partly marked, making navigational skill essential.

Pre-entry only (entry cap ~150) at £10, with commemorative 40th race souvenirs and a goody bag for finishers. FRA Category B safety rules apply; minimum age 19. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
