STOP Domestic Violence Abuse 5K
The Stop Domestic Violence Abuse 5K takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Chastain Park, 4403 Powers Ferry Rd. NW, Atlanta, GA 30342. The event is a USATF-Certified 5K paved course that follows Chastain Park’s scenic perimeter and surrounding neighborhood roads and serves as a qualifier for the AJC Peachtree Road Race.
Proceeds benefit the Brenda Baham Family Justice Center and Camp HOPE, a camp and mentoring program for children affected by domestic violence and trauma. The event is sponsored by the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in partnership with the Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts, the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Violence Reduction, the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy, Inc., and Partnership Against Domestic Violence.
Registration opens September 1, 2026 and closes September 11, 2026; the registration fee is $35.00. Pets and strollers are not allowed on the course. Time limit for the course is 1 hour and 15 minutes; any participant still on course after the time limit will be asked to vacate the course.
Timing uses an RFID chip system provided by Performance Race Services. Live results are published within minutes and reflect chip-to-chip times. Race bibs must be visible on the front of the torso, unaltered, pinned in all four corners, and uncovered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
