Stop Domestic Violence Abuse 5K
The Stop Domestic Violence Abuse 5K is a family-friendly community run and walk held at Chastain Park in Atlanta on November 7, 2026. The event offers a single distance of 5K (3.1 miles) on a paved course.
All proceeds benefit the Brenda Baham Family Justice Center and Camp HOPE, a camp and mentoring program for children who have experienced domestic violence and trauma. The event is organized to raise awareness and support survivors and their families.
The USATF certified 5K course follows Chastain Park’s scenic perimeter and surrounding neighborhood roads and serves as a qualifier for the AJC Peachtree Road Race. Pets and strollers are not allowed on the course. There is a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes; participants on the course after the time limit is reached will be asked to vacate the course.
Registration opens September 1, 2026 and closes October 9, 2026. The registration fee is $35.00 and all registrations are final with no refunds.
Timing uses RFID timing by Performance Race Services. To receive an accurate time, race bibs must be clearly visible on the front of the torso, unaltered and unmodified, pinned in all four corners, and uncovered. Live results are published within minutes and are chip to chip times.
