STOP Domestic Violence Abuse 5K
The event takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Chastain Park, 4403 Powers Ferry Rd. NW, Atlanta, GA 30342. It is a community run and walk to raise awareness and funds for survivors of domestic violence and their families.
The race uses a USATF certified paved 5K course that follows Chastain Park’s perimeter and nearby neighborhood roads. The course serves as a qualifier for the AJC Peachtree Road Race. Pets and strollers are not allowed on the course. The time limit for the course is 1 hour and 15 minutes; participants remaining on the course after that time will be asked to vacate the course.
Timing is provided by RFID chip timing from Performance Race Services. Live results are published within minutes and are chip-to-chip times. Race bibs must be clearly visible on the front of the torso, unaltered and pinned in all four corners, and not covered by clothing or gear.
All proceeds benefit the Brenda Baham Family Justice Center and Camp HOPE. The event is sponsored by the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in partnership with the Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts, the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Violence Reduction, the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy, Inc., and Partnership Against Domestic Violence.
