2026 Lakeside Viking 5K
The Lakeside Viking 5K is a community run/walk held on October 31, 2026 at Lakeside High School, 3801 Briarcliff Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30345. The event starts and finishes on the Lakeside High School track and follows a course through local neighborhoods. It is listed as a Peachtree race qualifier.
Packet pickup is available on specified days before the event at The Grove and at Napoleons on two separate dates. Packet pickup is also available on site on race day.
The course will be open for 1 hour 40 minutes, which corresponds to a 14 minute 30 second per mile pace. The event is timed and results will be posted online immediately after the race. Awards are presented in categories that include Top Overall Male and Female and Masters Male and Female.
All proceeds from the Viking 5K support the Lakeside High School Foundation programs that enhance education, athletics and the arts at Lakeside High School. The event will proceed regardless of weather. There are no refunds or transfers for registered entries. The listed entry fee for the individual 5K category is $35 USD.
