The event is a community 5K run/walk that begins and ends on the Lakeside High School track and runs through local neighborhoods near the school at 3801 Briarcliff Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30345. The race is listed as a Peachtree race qualifier. All proceeds support the Lakeside H.S. Foundation programs that enhance education, athletics and the arts at Lakeside High School.
Race logistics note that registration and packet pickup take place on race day on the track and that warm-up activities occur before the start. The course is timed and results will be posted online immediately after the event. The course will be open for 1 hour 40 minutes, equivalent to a 14 minute 30 second pace per mile.
