Stomp The Stigma 5K Run/Walk
Stomp The Stigma is a 5K run/walk scheduled for May 29, 2027 in Patchogue. Registration is not yet open and will open ahead of the event date. The event supports community fundraising and local charitable efforts.
The course is USATF certified. Post-race amenities include water, fruit and healthy snacks, an award ceremony, and pre and post race chair massage provided by Naturopathica Spa & Healing Arts Center. Raffle activities include a 50/50 cash-only raffle and various raffle baskets from local businesses; Venmo, PayPal and cash are accepted for raffle transactions. Live results are available online and by email or text, and same-day finish line photos and free video are provided.
Prizes are awarded to top finishers. Overall awards include monetary and store gift cards for the top finishers in male and female divisions. Age-group prizes are awarded to the top finisher male and female in the following categories: 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 plus.
Proceeds benefit the Elly CARES Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The event will host a drive to support a local food bank and free food pantry; requested donation items include non-perishable food, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products. Bib pick-up is scheduled the day before at Tap Room, 114 W. Main St., Patchogue. Virtual bibs are shipped within a window around the event.
