Stomp The Stigma is a community 5K run and walk scheduled for May 29, 2027 in Patchogue. The course is USATF certified and organizers note post race water and refreshments. Refreshment options listed include fruit, water and healthy snacks. A post race award ceremony is part of the event.

Awards for overall finishers combine cash gift cards and Sayville Running Co. gift cards for top male and female finishers, with further cash gift card awards for subsequent overall places. Age group prizes are listed for male and female categories including 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 plus.
The event benefits the Elly CARES Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Organizers will host a drive to support a local food bank and request donations such as non-perishable food items, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products.
Registration is not yet open; organizers offer a notification option to be informed when registration becomes available. Bib pickup is offered the evening before the race at Tap Room, 114 W. Main St., Patchogue, with Tap Room donating 30 percent of sales that night to the beneficiary. Virtual bibs are shipped within a window ranging from one week prior to one week after the event.
