Event details
The Stockport Daffodil 10k is scheduled for Sunday 25 January 2026 in Hazel Grove, Stockport. The race is promoted by Sports Feet in conjunction with Crazy Legs Events and is run on a closed road course. The event is licensed by UK Athletics (runbritain) and has a course measurement certificate (Licence Number 30120). Minimum age is 16. Entrants are asked to notify the organiser if they expect to take longer than 1 hour 45 minutes to complete the course.
Course
The course starts on Jackson's Lane and follows Chester Road/Woodford Road, including a section beside and on the A555 (Airport Link Road) towards Fiveways. The route includes a turnaround near the oil terminal roundabout and another at a bridlepath, then returns via a cycle path onto Woodford Road with a finish on Chester Road. The course is closed to other traffic for the race.
Entries, kit and prizes
Entry fees are listed as £26 (unaffiliated) and £24 (UKA affiliated). An early-bird discount of £2 is noted for entries made by Sunday 2nd February. Technical t-shirts are available for entries made before midnight on 30 November 2025; a small supply of shirts will be available to buy after the race at £15. A pair of branded socks and a bespoke wooden medal are included with entries. The event uses chip timing; numbers and timing chips can be collected from the Sports Feet shop in Hazel Grove in the days before the race or on race day. Prize money and awards include a £250 cash prize for first place male and first place female, further prizes for second and third places, veteran age-group prizes from 40 plus, and team prizes (three to count).
