Event Information

The Stockport Daffodil 10k is a road race scheduled for Sunday, 31st January 2027. It is a 10 km run on closed roads in Stockport, starting on Jackson’s Lane and incorporating Chester Road, Woodford Road, and a section of the A555 Airport Link Road.

Course Details

The route begins on Jacksons Lane, turns onto Chester Road and Woodford Road, joins a path beside the A555, then uses the carriageway towards Fiveways. After a turnaround, it returns towards the oil terminal roundabout, with another turnaround at a bridlepath, proceeds up a cycle path back onto Woodford Road, and finishes on Chester Road.

Race Features

Entry includes a technical T-shirt for registrations completed before 30th November 2026, a pair of Hilly socks, and a bespoke wooden medal. The event provides chip timing, a baggage store at Race HQ, a water station, and race photos. Prizes are awarded, including £250 cash for the first male and female finishers, with additional prizes for second, third, and veterans in age groups from 40 plus, as well as team prizes.

The race is licensed by UKA and has a course measurement certificate. The minimum age for participants is 16 years.
