Stiperstones Fell Race
The Stiperstones Fell Race, organized by Mercia Fell Runners, is a challenging 6.7 km (approximately 6.8 km) fell running event held near Snailbeach village in the West Midlands. The course features a total ascent of around 375 to 420 meters, starting with a steady climb to the top of the Stiperstones ridge, followed by a descent through Perkins Beach and a route over Crowsnest Dingle before returning to Snailbeach. The race supports local charities and contributes funds to Natural England, the landowner of the Stiperstones.
Registration takes place at Snailbeach Village Hall, with options for pre-entry or on-the-day entry. Participants must carry compulsory kit such as a wind top in adverse weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
