Stinson Lake 5K Run/Walk
The Stinson Lake 5K Run/Walk is an in-person fundraising race held on August 15, 2026, at White Mountain Ranch beach (formerly Happy T Ranch), 75 Ranch Rd, Rumney, NH 03266. The event supports the Stinson Lake Association’s Lake Host Program, which works to protect Stinson Lake from aquatic invasive species and preserve water quality. The field is limited to 200 participants.
The course is approximately 3.1 miles, mostly paved, run out-and-back on Stinson Lake Road. The race starts and finishes on a dirt road (Ranch Rd) with a turnaround at the Stinson Lake public boat ramp.
Registration fees and dates:
- Early bird registration: $30 per person by July 15; includes a T-shirt.
- Regular online registration: $35 per person July 16–August 12; T-shirts not guaranteed.
- Last-minute / race-day registration: $40 per person; available in person at the Stinson Lake Association Community Building (15 Community House Road, Rumney, NH) on August 14 and at White Mountain Ranch beach on August 15; cash or check only.
Additional notes: the event is in-person only this year. Families, groups, or teams of 4 or more registering in a single transaction receive $5 off per person. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for August 14 at the Stinson Lake Association Community Building.
Awards include overall top three men and women, gender age-group winners (1-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+), and team awards. A Team Challenge offers recognition for Largest Team, Fastest Team (competitive teams scored by top three finishers), Top Fundraiser, Biggest Age Gap among registered entrants, and Best Team Spirit. Community course signs are available for sponsorship at $100 each. Sponsors, raffle donations, volunteers, and committee members are being sought. All proceeds go to the Stinson Lake Association.
