Event Overview

The Stigma Stomp is a 5k run or walk on Saturday, May 30, 2026. The event is held at Currituck County Community Park, located at 120 Community Way next to the Currituck YMCA in Barco, North Carolina.

Event Details

Packet pickup and check-in take place only on race day at the start/finish line. Parking and portable toilets are available on-site. The course for this year is described as stroller or carriage friendly, and only service animals are permitted.

All participants receive a t-shirt, a finisher's medal, chip timing, commemorative wristbands, and light refreshments. A memory board will be present for leaving notes or pictures for loved ones. Guest speakers and memorial boards will also be on hand. Participation does not require running; support is welcomed through attendance, volunteering, or donations.
