Lighthouse 5k Series - Corolla, NC
The Lighthouse 5k Series takes place on June 10, 2026, at The Whalehead Club in Historic Corolla Park, Corolla, NC. This is the 16th annual running of the Lighthouse 5k / 1 Mile race series and features a course that passes local attractions including the Whalehead Club, Corolla Light, and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. The race start and finish are in front of the Historic Mansion at The Whalehead Club.

Entry fees are listed for adults and youth with registration opening on December 16, 2025 and closing on June 10, 2026. Walk-up registration and pre-registered packet pickup and check-in are available on race morning at the race start line. All entries include an event t-shirt, a finisher medallion, and chip timing.
Amenities at the venue include ample parking and onsite restrooms. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers, the first place Masters male and female (over 40), and the first place Youth male and female (14 and under). The event is described as walker and stroller friendly; service dogs are allowed while other pets are not. Major credit cards are accepted and the event supports local charities.
