The 16th annual Lighthouse 5k Series offers a 5k and a 1 mile run in Corolla's Historic Corolla Park. All participants receive a shirt, finisher medal, and chip timing. The course tours historic sights like the Whalehead Club and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse.

Lighthouse 5k Series

This event is the 16th annual Lighthouse 5k / 1 Mile Race Series. It takes place at The Whalehead Club, located at 1100 Club Road in Corolla, North Carolina. The event is held within Historic Corolla Park.

The event offers two distances:

All entries include an event t-shirt, a finisher medallion, and chip timing. On-site amenities include parking and restrooms. Walk-up registration and packet pickup are available on race morning. The event notes that it is walker and stroller friendly. Service dogs are allowed, but no other pets are permitted.

Awards are presented for the Top 3 Male/Female overall finishers, the first-place Masters Male/Female (over 40), and the first-place Youth Male/Female (14 & under).
