STEVE 5K
The STEVE 5K is the 6th annual Steps To End Violence Everywhere 5K held by the Center for Abused Persons on Saturday, April 25, 2026 in White Plains, Maryland. The event raises awareness and funds to address domestic and sexual violence, with proceeds directed to victims of abuse.
Event details
The event takes place at 10400 Theodore Green Blvd on the Indian Head Rail Trail. The course is an out-and-back paved trail and parking is available at the race site. Pre-registered participants who register by March 29 are guaranteed an event t-shirt. The race is professionally timed and managed by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing.

- 5K Run or Walk 55+ (open to ages 55+)
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual 5K 55+ (open to ages 55+)
- 5K 12 & Under (open to ages 1 - 12)

- In-person 5K entries show fees of $39.03 and $28.45 for 55+; the youth 5K shows $23.16.
- In-person registration for most events closes on April 24, 2026; virtual registration closes April 25, 2026.
