Event overview
The Tuesday Night 5k #2 takes place on April 14, 2026 at Burke Lake Park in Fairfax Station, VA. It is a chip-timed 5k that counts toward the Weekday Race Series (1 of 8 events in 2026) and the Year-Long 5k and Back of the Pack Series. The event is timed but there are no awards. Participants receive a finisher’s medal; shirts will not be provided. Walkers are welcome.
Course and logistics
The course is based at Shelter C in Burke Lake Park and is mostly paved with a short section of gravel and limited elevation gains. One water station is located along the 5k course at approximately mile 1.55; Gatorade may be available at some water stations. Packet pickup and race-day registration are available at the event. Live race results will be posted on Athlinks and via a QR code at the race; final results with series points are posted to the organizer’s website the Monday after the race. Event photos taken by staff are posted to the organizer’s Facebook page by the Tuesday after the event. Parking for the event is at Shelter C.
