Stern Grove 4M
Stern Grove 4M is a four mile road race in San Francisco that starts and finishes near 33rd Ave and Wawona St. The event is organized with a set entry fee structure: $5 for non members and $3 for standard members.
Runners follow Wawona to 34th Ave, turn left onto Crestlake Street, then left onto Sloat Blvd, left at 19th Ave, and left downhill on Wawona back toward 33rd Ave. At 34th Ave and Wawona runners begin a second loop, drop down through a barricade into Stern Grove, run the entire length of the grove, then turn left uphill to exit Stern Grove. From there the course turns left at 19th Ave, left downhill on Wawona, and returns to 33rd Ave for the finish.
