Angel Island Half Marathon & 10K : Angel Island State Park
The event offers two distance options held on a hilly loop trail that circumnavigates Angel Island State Park, with panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, Alcatraz Island, the East Bay and Marin County. The 10K completes a single loop; the Half Marathon completes the loop twice. The field is limited to 400 participants.

Course details note that the route is marked with orange ribbon at trail crossings and turns. There are no aid stations on course; aid is available before the Half Marathon second loop and food and drink are provided at the finish. Half Marathon runners must check in at the aid station before starting the second loop and must complete the first loop within the stated time limit. Course cut-off for the event is 3.5 hours.
Logistics include a required chartered ferry from the Tiburon ferry dock for athletes; spectator ferry fees are charged at the dock. Bib numbers are mailed beginning two weeks before the event; unmailed bibs may be picked up on race morning. Parking in Tiburon is available in pay lots from about $5 to $20 per day.
