Course and logistics

The course runs across pasture fields, farm tracks and through woodland. The 5km is a single lap; the 10km uses a modified second lap for variety. There is a stream crossing with an optional bridge. The surface is fairly flat by local standards but may be muddy and uneven in places; trail shoes are recommended. Organisers state there is no mandatory kit for the event.

Parking will be in a field on the estate; this field may be muddy and is usually a working field. Registration takes place at the front of the hall where runners collect bibs and any ordered mementos. Toilets are at Race HQ. One water station serves the 10km at the start of the second lap; water for 5km runners is available at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
