Stars At Night Half
The Stars At Night event offers evening running at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio on December 19, 2026. The program includes races at three distances:
- Half marathon
- 10k
- 5k
The course uses illuminated golf cart paths around the resort, and the event finishes with a post race celebration on the resort event lawn. Organizers provide professional chip timing and free race photos. Race materials and participant items noted for the half distance include a custom sweatshirt, a custom race bib, a finisher’s medal (all distances receive a medal; the half marathon medal includes a colorful custom ribbon), a swag bag, and post race food and hot beverages; a cash bar is available.
A discounted resort room rate is offered with registration at $188 per night and no resort fees; rooms are limited to one per registered runner. The event collects donations each year for St. Mark’s Mobile Loaves & Fishes; a list of needed items is available in the race information. Purpose Racing organizes the event; volunteers are eligible for future race discounts and the organizer operates an ambassador program for referring participants.
The organizer’s cancellation policy states there are no refunds, but registration transfers are allowed for a nominal fee if requested at least two weeks before the event; race deferrals are not available and race insurance is recommended.
