Stanford Treeathlon 2026
The Stanford Treeathlon is scheduled for February 14, 2026 in San Mateo, California. It is hosted by the Stanford University Triathlon Team and takes place at 1901 J Hart Clinton Dr., San Mateo. The event combines open-water swimming, road cycling, and running in a single-day triathlon format.
Race format and categories
The race course consists of the following legs:
- 750 m open-water swim
- 20 km bike
- 5 km run
There are two separate races on the same day: a draft-legal triathlon for collegiate and elite athletes, and the Classic Stanford Treeathlon, which is non-draft legal. Each race uses wave start categories listed as men's and women's, and the organizers state they will accommodate participants regardless of gender identity. Entry and eligibility
