Race formats and course features
- 100 Mile - backcountry route, over 23,000 feet of climbing, long stretches between aid.
- 60K - 37.2 miles, about 9,000 feet of vertical gain, high ridgelines and mountain lakes.
- 30K - covers the second half of the 60K course, over 4,300 feet climbing, steep grades.
Every aid station is hiked in. The terrain includes steep, technical trails and remote sections; mountain weather can change quickly. There is no qualifying requirement for 2026, but the event statement warns that many runners do not finish even with strong preparation. Finishers receive a handcrafted award. Shuttle tickets for the 30K/60K are sold separately and must be purchased in advance according to the event information. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
