Girls on the Run Southern Idaho organizes a seasonal 5K celebration at Swiftsure Ranch on November 7. The event serves as the closing activity for the council's programs and offers a 5K (3.1 miles) course for participants of all abilities. This is presented as a noncompetitive, celebratory event that focuses on completion and confidence.

Program participants and coaches are registered through the council and participate at no cost. Community members and additional family or friends may participate with a suggested donation of $10. Running Buddies may accompany participants; a suggested donation also applies to Running Buddies. All registered finishers receive a commemorative medal.

The council describes multiple safety and accessibility measures. Every participant must wear a race bib, a Running Buddy is assigned or encouraged, course monitoring and head counts are conducted, and staff and volunteers follow a safety plan. The course is described as accessible for people with disabilities and designated parking spots are available. Volunteers appointed through the council undergo a background check.

Event features include color stations, bling your bib and happy hair stations, merchandise for sale, and a range of volunteer roles such as set up and tear down, registration, course marshals, running buddies, water stations and cheer stations.
