St. Pete Run Fest
St. Pete Run Fest is a three day festival held November 13 to 15 that combines road races, family activities, and an expo. The event program includes a certified half marathon and shorter courses that run through downtown St. Pete, its historic neighborhoods, and along the scenic waterfront.
Main race distances include:
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon
- 6.2 miles 10K
- 3.1 miles 5K
- Kids and youth runs for elementary aged children
- VEG PeliPAWS Dog Walk
The half marathon is a certified 13.1 mile course that travels through the heart of downtown and along the waterfront. The 10K and 5K courses also pass downtown, the waterfront, and the St Pete Pier. The kids program is the culmination of an ongoing running and walking initiative for elementary aged children that promotes active habits.
Event amenities and features listed for the weekend include live music, an expo called the Good Sweat Festival, craft beer and wine, local makers, awards, packet pickup, training resources, course maps, and information on travel, hotels, parking, and transportation. Race courses highlight colorful murals and local wildlife such as birds, pelicans, and dolphins.
Good Sweat Foundation Inc. is a Florida nonprofit connected to the event. Proceeds from race registrations fund event operations and are used as permitted under the foundation's exempt purposes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
