St. Pete Run Fest
St. Pete Run Fest is a three day festival held Nov 13-15 that combines road races with an expo and neighborhood activities. The event program includes running distances, youth races, and a dog walk, and features live music, craft beer and wine, and local makers at the expo.
The main race courses run through downtown St. Pete, historic neighborhoods, and along the scenic waterfront. The half marathon is a certified 13.1 mile course. Runners on the 10K and 5K routes pass the St Pete Pier and waterfront areas. The youth program for elementary aged children promotes regular running and healthy habits.
Additional elements listed for the weekend include an expo called the Good Sweat Festival, awards and race amenities, and a schedule for watching races and related activities. The event notes local wildlife that may be seen along the waterfront, including birds, pelicans, and dolphins.
The event is produced by the Good Sweat Foundation Inc., a Florida nonprofit. The foundation states that additional contribution options are voluntary and not required for participation, and that proceeds from registrations fund event operations and are used as permitted under the foundation’s exempt purposes.
