2027 St. Paddy's Leprechaun 5k, 10k, and 1 Miler
The event on March 14, 2027 takes place at Old Mill Park in Fredericksburg and offers multiple race distances along the Rappahannock River.

The course uses a paved path that includes a few small hills. The 5k is an out and back route and the 10k covers the 5k course twice. Restrooms are located near the park parking area.
Runners receive a finisher medal, a technical drifit event shirt, and chip timing. Water stations are placed along the courses: two stations on the 5k at about miles 1 and 2.1, and five stations on the 10k at approximately miles 1, 2.1, 3.1, 4.1, and 5.2. Gatorade is available at some stations.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to age group winners in these categories: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70plus. Runners who place top three overall are not eligible to also win their age groups.
Points from these races count toward the Year Long series, the Back of the Pack series, and the Winter Series. The Back of the Pack time is listed as 11:00 and refers to a series classification rather than a course cutoff. A virtual race option is offered. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is permitted. T shirts are guaranteed to entrants who register before March 3.
