Event Information
The St. Patrick's Day Butte Color Run is held on March 17 in Butte, Montana, at Stodden Park. The event includes a 1-mile fun run and a 5k run. Participants can also choose a virtual option to complete on March 17.
Race Options
There are separate age categories for youth and adults. The youth events are open to participants aged 1-18, with a registration fee of $10 for each distance. The adult events are for ages 19-99, with a registration fee of $20 for each distance. The virtual option is open to all ages for a $10 fee. Prices increase after February 27, 2026.
Event Details
The event features "color stations" along the course where participants can be coated with colored powder. Music, food, and activities begin before the races. A T-shirt and color pack are guaranteed for those who register by February 28, 2026. All participants aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
