The Divide Trail Race takes place on July 25, 2026 in Butte, MT (Thompson Park - Eagles Nest, 59701). The event is run by Wolf Pack Trail Runs and is held along sections of the Continental Divide Trail and the Milwaukee Road trail, including historic train tunnels and Pipestone Pass.

Course

Both distances start and finish at Eagles Nest in Thompson Park (approx. 6,000 feet). The 25K is one clockwise loop; the 50K is two loops following the same route. Terrain is listed as 75% single track, 10% double track, 10% gravel roads, and 5% pavement. Elevation gain/loss is 2,400 feet for the 25K and 4,800 feet for the 50K. Low point is Eagles Nest (6,000 feet); Pipestone Pass is noted at about 6,450 feet (full aid station, mile 8.5). A water station is located at the bottom of Skeebogan trail (mile 1). Organizers note the route includes train tunnels where a headlamp is recommended.

Registration items include a race bib, finisher medal, and custom race sticker. The event provides timing and posted results, aid station support, and product samples from sponsors (Hammer Nutrition, Super Coffee, SPORTea). Race shirts can be ordered separately at cost.
