South Asheville Turkey Trot 5K : 2026
The South Asheville Turkey Trot presented by Hunter Subaru is the eighth annual 5K held at Biltmore Park Town Square in Asheville, North Carolina on November 26, 2026. The event runs as both an in-person and a virtual 5K and is part of the Holiday Hustle series presented by Hunter Subaru, which includes two additional races and a bonus series medal.
The course is professionally chip-timed, fully marked, and USATF certified. Organizers note that permits are pending and the race course is subject to change. All in-person participants receive a commemorative finisher medal; this year’s medal features a spinning turkey. Participants who register by November 1 receive a complimentary Run Grateful shirt in adult and youth sizes. After that date shirts may be available for purchase in limited quantities. A pre-event shipping option is offered until November 1 so race packets can be mailed in advance.
The event includes family pricing for youth: registration for participants age 12 and under is priced at $25 through November 15, with a later increase noted. The event features a Best Dressed Turkey contest with awards for Best Dressed Turkey Overall (top 3) and Best Dressed Turkey Group. Charity partners include Least of These Asheville and iDream Athletes Foundation; organizers list suggested donation amounts and requested snack and hygiene items for Least of These Asheville.
