Ugly Sweater Run presented by Hunter Subaru
The Ugly Sweater Run presented by Hunter Subaru is scheduled for December 5, 2026, at Oskar Blues Brewery Taproom in Brevard, North Carolina. This is the event's seventh annual edition and it offers in-person and virtual participation options.
Distances offered:
- 5K
- 10K double loop
The course is described as scenic and mostly flat, using Brevard’s greenways, passing the Sports Complex, and moving through neighborhood streets. The 5K records under 100 feet of elevation gain. Surfaces are all paved and spectator access is described as easy. Participants may include families, strollers, and pets in festive attire. Children 14 and under must run with an accompanying adult.
Event entries include race swag and finisher recognition: all participants will receive a finisher medal; registered 5K and 10K participants receive a dri-fit shirt when registered by the November 1 cutoff (short sleeve for the 5K, long sleeve for the 10K). The race bib includes a ticket redeemable for a complimentary beer at Oskar Blues for guests 21 and older. Packet pickup is available on race day at Oskar Blues Brewery.
The event is part of the Holiday Hustle series presented by Hunter Subaru and includes a Sweater Squad Showdown group option, where the group with the most participants can earn a $1,000 donation for a chosen organization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
