Ugly Sweater Run presented by Hunter Subaru is set for December 5, 2026 at Oskar Blues Brewery Taproom, 342 Mountain Industrial Drive, Brevard, NC. The event offers in-person and virtual options and is part of the Holiday Hustle series.
The course is described as scenic and mostly flat, using Brevard’s greenways, looping around the Sports Complex, and passing through neighborhood streets. Surfaces are all paved and the route is noted for easy spectator access.
Distances:
- 5K: features under 100 feet of elevation gain.
- 10K: a double loop of the 5K course.
Event amenities and policies include a commemorative finisher medal for all participants, a complimentary beer redemption ticket valid at Oskar Blues Brewery for participants 21 and older, and event shirts for registrations completed by November 1 (short sleeve for the 5K, long sleeve for the 10K). Youth pricing is available for ages 12 and under ($25 early, $30 late, with the early rate applying through November 29). Children 14 and under must run with an accompanying adult. A group fundraising option called the Sweater Squad Showdown awards $1,000 to the organization with the largest registered group, with ties resolved by random drawing.
