Ugly Sweater Run presented by Hunter Subaru
The Ugly Sweater Run takes place on December 5, 2026, at Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard, North Carolina. The event offers in-person and virtual options with race swag included for participants who meet registration deadlines and a finisher medal for all entrants.
The course uses local greenways, the Brevard Sports Complex, and neighborhood streets. Surfaces are all paved and the 5K has under 100 feet of elevation gain; the 10K is a double loop of the same route. The event notes easy spectator access and course support from marshals and police; roads on the course remain open to traffic. Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Additional details include a free short sleeve dri-fit shirt with 5K registration (deadline applies) and a free long sleeve performance shirt with 10K registration (deadline applies). All participants receive a finisher medal. A ticket on the race bib can be redeemed for a complimentary beer at Oskar Blues Brewery for participants 21 and older. Youth 5K pricing is available for ages 12 and under ($25 early / $30 late). Group fundraising is available through the Sweater Squad Showdown; the organization with the most participants can earn a $1,000 donation, with ties decided by random drawing.
