Asheville Turkey Trot - November 26, 2026

The Asheville Turkey Trot is the 26th annual Thanksgiving Day event in downtown Asheville, North Carolina. It includes a 5K and a 1 mile fun run and is presented by Jus’ Running. Portions of the race proceeds will be donated to MANNA Food Bank. Race timing is provided by Right On Time Productions.

Course and logistics

Both races finish at Pack Square Park in downtown Asheville. The 5K starts on Woodfin Street in front of the Downtown YMCA; the 1 mile starts on Woodfin Street in front of the First Congregational Church. The course is not completely closed to traffic, and no dogs or pets are allowed for safety reasons. A course map is available on Strava. Early packet pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, November 25 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at a TBD location; race day packet pickup and registration are at Pack Square Park. Race day registration is available. Shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after November 1 or during late registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
