Asheville Turkey Trot - Asheville, NC
The Asheville Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day road running event held on Thursday, November 26, 2026, in downtown Asheville. The event comprises two organized runs that start on Woodfin Street and finish at Pack Square Park.

The 26th annual edition includes early packet pickup on the day before the race at a to-be-determined location, and race day packet pickup and registration at Pack Square. Race day registration is available, though shirts are not guaranteed for those who register after November 1. Portions of the event proceeds will be donated to MANNA Food Bank. Race timing is provided by Right On Time Productions.
Course notes and restrictions are posted for each course. The 5K route begins in front of the downtown YMCA and follows city streets through Charlotte, Evelyn Place, Murdock, Hillside, Liberty, Orange, Central, Woodfin and Oak before approaching a finish near Pack Square Park. The 1 mile fun run follows a shorter loop from Woodfin Street to College Street and into Pack Square Park. For safety reasons the course is not completely closed and no dogs or pets are allowed during the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
