St. Mark's New Year's Day 5K takes place on January 1, 2027 in Long Valley, New Jersey. The event marks its tenth edition and is held on a USATF certified course through Long Valley. The distance is 3.1 miles and the race is organized to proceed in all weather conditions.
Registration is available in multiple tiers: early registration through November 27 is $30; registrations from November 28 through December 31 are $40 and include a hoodie while supplies last; in-person registration the morning of the race begins at 10:30 am for $45. Online registration opens October 1, 2026. Organizers note hoodies may be sold out by race day.
Post-race provisions include bagels donated by Hot Bagels Abroad, bananas, water, and hot chocolate. Awards and prize drawings are planned to take place indoors.
