Mountain Lakes Turkey Trot
The Mountain Lakes Turkey Trot is a community 5K hosted by Lakeland Hills Family YMCA for the third year. The event takes place on Thanksgiving Day in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, with start and finish at Wildwood Elementary School, 51 Glen Road.
The race is a USATF-sanctioned, USATF certified 5K (3.1 miles) course - NJ25032MNS - and is part of the Paul Miller Grand Prix (500 points). Runners, walkers, and strollers are welcome; children age 2 and younger participate free. For safety, dogs, bicycles, scooters, skates, and similar equipment are not permitted on the course.
Registration opens July 31, 2026. Entry fee is $35 through November 18, 2026, and $40 beginning November 19, including Thanksgiving Day. Participants who register by Monday, November 9 are guaranteed an event T-shirt. Race packets may be picked up on race morning at the start location, with preferred advance packet pickup offered Tuesday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 25 at the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA, 100 Fanny Road.
The event includes a race-day atmosphere with a DJ, coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks. Awards information is to be announced. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
