St Joe's Jog 5K : Athens, Sandy Creek Park
St Joe's Jog 5K is a community running event on March 28, 2026, held at Sandy Creek Park in Athens, GA. The event benefits the students of St. Joseph Catholic Parish School and uses a USATF certified course (GA19034DJ) at Sandy Creek Park.
The event program includes:
- Fun Run (entirely inside Sandy Creek Park on paved roads)
- In Person 5K (completely inside Sandy Creek Park on paved roads)
- Virtual 5K (run 3.1 miles between March 1 and March 28)
- Phantom Participant (shirt-only support option)
Packet pickup and race day registration are available the day before at St. Joseph Catholic Parish School. T-shirt distribution is scheduled the week before at the school and again on race day; shirts can also be mailed for a $10 mailing fee.
Registration fees listed on the event page are $30 plus a platform fee for standard entries, with a higher race day registration fee for in person events. Virtual participants must register as virtual runners and submit finish times through the event results page; virtual runners are not eligible for race day awards.
Awards are presented to overall male and female finishers, masters male and female, and to male and female runners in 5-year age groups from 10 and under through 75 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
