St. Joe Valley Happy Trail Run
The St. Joe Valley Happy Trail Run takes place November 14 to 16, 2026 at St. Patrick's County Park in St. Joseph County, South Bend, Indiana. The event offers multiple distances on beginner-friendly trails and uses chip timing for all distances.
Available distances include:
- 1 Mile - out and back route.
- 5K - one loop.
- 10K - two loops.
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) - four loops plus the 1 Mile out and back.
All event proceeds go to Rhyme & Reason Ministry to support people with developmental disabilities, cognitive delays, social skill deficits, and foster and adopted youth. Pets may spectate but are not allowed on the course with runners or walkers. There are no same-day signups this year. Volunteer opportunities are available.
Packet pickup is located at St. Patrick's County Park. Pickup is offered the day before the main event and on the event day; participants who pick up on the event day are advised to allow time for packet pickup, restroom use, and finding the start area. All distances are chip-timed by Watts My Time.
