Event overview
The Annual Running of the Lights takes place on December 9, 2025 in Mishawaka, IN. The event is a running tour of Winding Brook Park to view holiday light displays created by local residents. Fleet Feet Mishawaka is organizing the event and plans to donate a total of $2,000, starting with a $1,000 contribution and encouraging additional donations from participants. A minimum donation of $5 per runner is suggested. The event includes a Teddy Bear Trot; participants are invited to bring a stuffed teddy bear for donation to a local non-profit.
Logistics and participant information
Check-in and parking are at Walt Disney Elementary School, 4015 Filbert Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46545. Participants must check in and will receive a safety light to wear for visibility on the route. Volunteers will be on the route to guide participants. Participants are expected to follow traffic signs; the signs will have flashing lights to increase visibility. The run finishes where it started so participants can cross at the traffic light back to their vehicles. Strollers are allowed if children remain in them. Dogs are not allowed.
