The annual Flannel 5K Run returns to Beutter Park in Mishawaka for its sixth year. Participants can choose between a 5K or a 1-mile race along the scenic Riverwalk. All finishers get a medal, and wearing flannel is encouraged.

Flannel 5K Run

The Flannel 5K Run is the sixth annual edition of this event. It takes place on December 12, 2026, at Beutter Park in Mishawaka, Indiana. The course follows the Riverwalk.

Two events are offered:

Flannel 5K Run (5 km)
Flannel 1-Mile Run (1.6 km)

The event is chip-timed, and all participants receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers in each race distance.

Participants are encouraged to wear flannel. The event partners with the South Bend Center for the Homeless, collecting new or gently used coats, hats, and gloves at Fleet Feet Mishawaka or at Chicory Café.
