St David's Day Run : Bute Park, Cardiff
The St David's Day Run takes place on 1 March 2026 at Coopers Field in Bute Park, Cardiff (CF10 3DX). The event offers races for adults and a kids mini run. A donation from every entry fee will be given to Cancer Research Wales and Kidney Wales. The event hub and registration are at Coopers Field. Toilets are on site and bag storage is available next to the registration tents. There is no parking inside Bute Park; nearby city centre car parks and on-street parking are available.
Race details
- Half marathon - four laps plus an additional 1.1 km loop
- 10k - two laps
- 5k - one lap
- Kids 1.5k - short children’s race
The course runs on park paths and is described as flat; road running shoes are recommended. The route is wheelchair friendly and buggies are permitted. All entrants receive chip-on-bib timing, split times for each lap, a medal, and on-course drinks and refreshments. Results are available immediately after the event on the event website and via ResultsBase. The organiser may alter the course if necessary.
