St David's Day Run
The St David's Day Run takes place in Bute Park, Cardiff with the event hub at Coopers Field. The event offers several distances including a mini run for children. The organiser partners with Cancer Research Wales and Kidney Wales; a donation from every entry fee will be given to each charity and charity places are available.
- 5k one lap
- 10k two laps
- Half marathon four laps plus an additional 1.1 km loop
- Kids mini run
The course follows park paths and is described as flat. Road running shoes are recommended. The route is marked and marshalled, and split times are provided for each lap. The event uses chip-on-bib timing and instant race results will be available after the event.
Facilities and practical information include registration and on-site collection of race packs, bag storage next to registration, and toilets at Coopers Field. There is no parking within Bute Park; parking is available in and around the park. Buggies are permitted and the course is described as wheelchair friendly.
