Dragon Coastal Ultramarathon

Dragon Coastal Races are three ultra-trail events along the Wales Coast Path: 100 miles Rhossili Bay to Cardiff Bay, 50 miles Kenfig Nature Reserve to Cardiff Bay, and 30 miles Dunraven Bay to Cardiff Bay. All routes finish at the Captain Scott Memorial and the Norwegian Church in Cardiff Bay. The courses are easy to navigate and non-technical, suitable for first-timers or seasoned runners, with surprises like beaches, sand, shingle and a night-time elevation on the 100‑mile.

GPS tracking, marked routes and drop bags enhance the spectator-friendly coastal adventure; highlights include Worms Head, Mumbles, Afan Forest, Margam Park, Merthyr Mawr dunes, Ogmore Castle, and the Vale coast. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
