Event overview
The Dragon Coastal Races take place on 18 and 19 July 2026 along the Wales Coast Path. There are three point-to-point ultramarathon distances that all finish at the Norwegian Church and Captain Scott Memorial in Cardiff Bay. The event follows coastal trails, beaches, dunes and some inland forest and parkland. Routes are waymarked and additional running arrows and luminous flags are used where the route leaves the coast path. A marked map, a GPS file and live GPS tracking are provided for all races.
