Clevedon SwimRun
Clevedon SwimRun is a mixed run and swim event held at Clevedon Marine Lake in North Somerset. The full course comprises about 6 km of running and 1 km of swimming, arranged as five short runs separated by approximately 250 m swims in the lake. The layout repeats short run and swim segments rather than a single long swim or run.
There are two classes of entry. Individuals can complete a full distance alone. Teams share the effort with one person running while the other swims; teammates alternate and have time between efforts while waiting for their turn.
Two distance options are offered:
- Full distance, approximately 6 km running and 1 km swimming
- Half distance, a shorter individual distance option
The event notes that special kit is not required and the course can be completed in running shorts, a t-shirt and an old pair of trainers. Entrants must be aged 8 or over on the event date. The organisers welcome participants with disabilities and can discuss individual needs. Medal sales close one week before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
