St. Anthony's Triathlon
St. Anthony's Triathlon takes place in St. Petersburg, Florida over the weekend of April 23-25, 2027. The event stages swim, bike, and run segments along the St. Petersburg waterfront, using the waters of Tampa Bay and streets through downtown and nearby neighborhoods.
The race offers multiple distance options:
- Olympic Triathlon
- Sprint Triathlon
- Meek & Mighty Triathlon (beginner distance)
The swim starts near the St. Pete Pier in warm springtime waters. The bike course is described as flat and passes downtown areas and marinas. The run travels through downtown St. Pete neighborhoods to the finish line, with on-course spectators noted along the routes. Organizers describe the roads as closed for the course.
Event features include an athlete expo, a finish line celebration with food, drinks, and live music, and awards for podium finishers. The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon; participants must be current USAT members or purchase a one-day license during registration. All USAT rules apply during the event. Protests of penalties must be filed with the USAT head official within 15 minutes and the completed protest form submitted within a further 30 minutes.
